Model

Few months ago I saw in an office poster saying

Scan Offset

I knew I wanted this in my own workspace, but I couldn't decide what would be the best way to portrait such beautiful poster.

Modelling

I downloaded some version of this poster in a mesh and tried to outline its features. The leave mark was a little to narrow, so I made the arrow bigger, so that the drill can easily follow the inner path.

Text

The text needed to be rewritten since the font used in the original picture was not suitable for such task. Krištof advised me to use single-line fonts, which would then be used for tracing and milling its path.

I also changed the text slightly, because I saw somewhere git -tf out and I immediately fell in love with it.

Wrong stock size

The stock size was starting a few milimeters under the model and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out the original mesh of the poster was still present even though invisible and its body was that few milimeters under the model.

So I removed the mesh and the stock was correct.

Result

This is not my product, mine is going to be processed later.
